Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 3, 2026

This policy explains how Daniel Wainryb, operating as Range Flexibility (“Range”, “we”, “us”), handles personal information when you use the Range iOS app, visit rangeflexibility.com, or contact us. We are responsible for the processing described here. For privacy questions or requests, email daniel@rangeflexibility.com.

1. Information we process

The information involved depends on how you use Range:

We obtain information from you, from your use of the service, and from providers involved in sign-in, purchases, and service operation. Camera and photo-library access is controlled through iOS permissions. You can change those permissions in your device settings; some features may then be unavailable.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide accounts and app features, measure and display flexibility progress, personalize the experience, recognize subscriptions, answer support requests, diagnose problems, protect the service, and understand how features are used. Contact details and interaction information may also be used for Range’s own marketing where permitted, subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements. You can ask us to stop direct marketing at any time.

Photo-based measurements are estimates generated from image analysis and any adjustments you make. They are for fitness tracking and do not constitute a medical diagnosis or a decision about your legal rights.

3. Legal bases

Where European or UK data-protection law applies, our legal bases are performing our contract with you for the features you request; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, supporting, and improving the service, balanced against your rights; complying with legal obligations; and your consent where required for optional processing, marketing, or device access. Where fitness information qualifies as protected health data, an additional legal condition is required, including explicit consent where applicable. You may withdraw consent by changing the relevant settings or contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

4. Sharing and service providers

Information may be processed by providers that help deliver hosting, storage, account services, purchase management, analytics, diagnostics, communications, and support. Access is limited to what is needed for the relevant service and subject to applicable data-protection obligations. The website is hosted by Vercel and its infrastructure providers. Apple independently handles App Store and payment information according to its own policies.

We require service providers that handle personal information on our behalf to use it only for the services they provide to us, protect it at least as well as this policy requires, and meet applicable legal and App Store privacy requirements.

We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards and notice. Links to other services are governed by those services’ privacy policies.

5. Cookies and website technologies

The website uses locally hosted images and fonts. Hosting infrastructure may use cookies or similar technologies for security and reliable delivery. This website does not include a separate advertising or analytics tracker added by Range. If optional website tracking is introduced, the required notice and consent controls will be provided.

6. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected. Account and progress information is generally needed while you use the service; support records are kept as needed to resolve inquiries; and transaction or other records may be retained where required by law or to resolve disputes. Deletion requests are subject to these limited retention requirements and the normal removal cycle for backups. We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.

In deciding how long to keep information, we consider whether your account is active, whether the information is still needed to provide a requested feature, outstanding support requests or disputes, and legal record-keeping requirements. When those purposes end, we delete the information or make it anonymous. Limited backup copies are removed through the backup retention cycle and are not used for routine service operations.

7. International processing

Service providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Where applicable law restricts a transfer, an appropriate transfer mechanism is required, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses with relevant safeguards. Contact us for information about the providers and safeguards applicable to your data.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location and the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy of your information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing, and withdraw consent for processing based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact daniel@rangeflexibility.com. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within the period required by applicable law.

Account and data deletion: You can email daniel@rangeflexibility.com to request deletion of your account and associated personal information, including progress records and photos held by us. Please identify the account or email address involved; do not send your password. We will verify the request, explain any information that must be retained and why, and respond within the applicable legal deadline. Device permissions can be revoked in iOS settings, but revoking a permission does not by itself delete information already provided.

You may complain to your local data-protection authority. If you are in the EEA, you can contact the authority where you live, work, or believe an infringement occurred. You can also manage camera, photo, and other app permissions in iOS settings. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription; manage subscriptions separately in your Apple account.

9. Children

Range is a general fitness tool and is not directed at children under 13. Where a higher local age or parental-authorization requirement applies, it must be respected. If you believe a child has provided personal information without the authorization required by law, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated where required, and we will seek fresh consent when necessary. Contact: Daniel Wainryb, daniel@rangeflexibility.com.
